How it started.

AFP Film Lab is a dedicated facility in Mumbai specializing in professional film processing, development, and scanning services. Established by two cinematographers trained at FTII Pune, our lab brings advanced expertise and industry standards to analog photography workflows.

Our journey began with in-depth experimentation and testing of photographic media, evolving into a modern lab setup equipped for C41, ECN2, 110, and 120mm film formats. AFP Film Lab is committed to serving photographers and visual artists who value the unique qualities of film. We ensure each roll receives meticulous handling, consistent results, and technical care.

Located in the heart of Mumbai, our mission is to support and grow the film photography community, providing reliable processing and scanning solutions tailored to contemporary and legacy formats. We invite photographers seeking precision and quality in analog imaging to collaborate with our facility.

ANUBHAV SUREHATIA

Anubhav Surehatia is a graduate of FTII Pune, specializing in cinematography. As the founder of AFP Film Lab in Mumbai, he brings deep expertise, technical rigor, and an artist’s eye to professional film processing and analog photography workflows. With years of hands-on experience, experimentation, and dedication to the craft, Anubhav champions precise development and scanning for C41, ECN-2, 110, and 120mm formats. His passion lies in supporting photographers and visual artists who value the distinct magic of film, fostering high professional standards and community connection at every step.
